The Suns are 2-5 and 2-2 at home after Thursday’s 117-104 win over Orlando. The win came one night after Portland scored 132 against them in the same building. Phoenix got a better defensive result against the Magic, but Houston has more ways to attack its help defense.

Houston -6.5 is my best bet. Sengun gives the Rockets a way to break down Phoenix’s interior coverage, and the defense gives them room to cover even if they don’t reach 120. The Suns have a chance if Booker makes Houston send help and Phoenix’s shooters convert the looks that follow. Over four quarters, I trust Houston to get more good possessions at both ends.

Houston could score well and still leave this under if it keeps Phoenix around 105. The Rockets held Boston to 93 on Monday, and I expect them to make the Suns work harder than Orlando did on Thursday.
