Samsung Lions players, mascot and Daegu Samsung Lions Park for KBO picks and predictions

KT Wiz vs Samsung Lions Picks and Prediction for Saturday, November 7, 2026

KT has scored three runs over its last two games, and now Samsung is giving it a different look. The Lions plan to open with a rookie and turn Game 4 over to the bullpen. First pitch is Saturday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. KST, or 12:00 a.m. EST, at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. SBS carries the game in Korea. Samsung leads the best-of-seven Korean Series 2–1. Game 4 sportsbook odds were unverified at publication. I’m looking for KT at +110 or better and Over 8.5 at -110 or better. Get into the action with our free KBO picks.

Daegu Samsung Lions Park is open-air. The first-pitch forecast calls for clear skies, 54°F, a northwest wind around 9 mph, gusts near 20 mph and a precipitation chance below 10%. The cool air could take some carry off fly balls. With the wind’s direction relative to the field unverified, I’d make only a small weather adjustment to the total.

Starting Pitchers

2026 Regular Season Logan Allen — KT Jang Chan-hee — Samsung
Record 7–5 4–5
ERA 3.59 4.50
WHIP 1.41 1.39
Innings 92⅔ 76
Strikeouts 83 57
Walks 27 29
Home Runs Allowed 11 14

Allen has the better ERA and gives KT a clearer path to getting through the middle innings with one pitcher. He struck out 14 without a walk over eight scoreless innings against Lotte in his last regular-season start. Samsung was a tougher matchup. The Lions hit .326 against him in two regular-season meetings and scored four runs on nine hits in his August 29 start in Daegu. They also got to him in relief in Game 1.

Jang made nine starts among 41 regular-season appearances, so he’s familiar with both roles. The 19-year-old had a 7.20 ERA in two regular-season outings against KT and gave up two runs in two relief innings in Game 1. Those are small samples. The bigger question is how quickly Samsung will go to the bullpen and which matchups it can get once Jang exits.

KT Needs to Turn Baserunners Into Runs

The Wiz went 90–49–5 in the regular season and 45–25–3 on the road. They actually outhit Samsung 7–4 in Friday’s 5–1 loss, but the only run came in the first inning. KT’s starter walked five batters in the first two innings, and Samsung took advantage with a three-run second.

The Wiz scored 825 runs in the regular season, or 5.73 per game, with a .286 batting average and a .367 on-base percentage. Their staff had a 4.14 ERA and allowed 649 runs. That’s the better season-long scoring and run prevention profile of the two clubs, even after a couple of quiet games at the plate.

KT should make Samsung work for early outs. Its lineup got seven innings of the same starter Friday. On Saturday it could see several different arms before the game gets to the late innings. A couple of long at-bats with runners aboard could force Samsung to reach deeper into its bullpen earlier than planned.

Samsung Can Put Pressure on Allen Early

Samsung went 83–58–3 in the regular season and 43–29–1 at home. The Lions followed their 12-inning win in Suwon with a four-run victory in Daegu. They needed only two innings of relief Friday, which helps with the short turnaround to Saturday’s afternoon start.

The Lions hit .273 and scored 806 runs in the regular season. Their 140 home runs were 19 more than KT hit, and they added a solo shot late in Game 3. Samsung’s staff posted a 4.31 ERA and allowed 669 runs. That puts some pressure on the offense to give the bullpen room to work Saturday.

Allen held Samsung without a home run in their two regular-season meetings, but the Lions reached him for 14 hits in 11⅔ innings. They can get to him by putting a few hits together, as they did in his August start here. The sooner they do it, the easier it is for Samsung to manage the pitching changes with a lead.

KT Wiz vs Samsung Lions Picks and Prediction

Side Pick: KT Wiz Moneyline +110 or Better

I’ll take KT at +110 or better. The Wiz were 20 games over .500 on the road, and I like their chances of getting to Samsung’s pitching before the Lions can settle into their preferred relief matchups. Allen’s 4.63 regular-season ERA against Samsung keeps this close, especially in Daegu. Still, KT has a starter who can give it length and a lineup that reached base at a .367 clip during the season. That’s enough for me at the plus price. Pass below +110.

Total Pick: Over 8.5 Runs at -110 or Better

I like the over more than the side. Samsung has already hit Allen well in this park, and KT gets a rookie who allowed 14 homers in 76 regular-season innings before handing off to the bullpen. The last two games finished with five and six runs, and Samsung’s short relief assignment Friday gives it options if Jang struggles. That’s the case for another under. The difference Saturday is that both lineups have shown they can get to the pitchers opening this game. I’ll play Over 8.5 at -110 or better and pass if the total rises to 9.

Projected Final Score: KT Wiz 6, Samsung Lions 4
