LG heads to this game here after getting the win holding a share of second place in the KBO with the Lions and multiple other teams at a 2-1 mark. The Twins are hitting at a clip of .299 with a homer, but have been impressive at times pitching the ball with a 4.33 ERA.
LG has a pair of hitters that are hitting at a clip of .444 on the year and they are Moon Sung-ju and Shin Min-Jae. The power hitting has come off the bat of Hong Chang-ki who has hit a single homer. He also leads the Twins in bringing home the runners with 4 RBIs.
LG is putting Choi Won-tae on the mound. Last season Won-tae posted a 4.30 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 9-7 record with 26 starts as well. He managed to strikeout 118 batters, but walked only 46. He did allow 149 hits and 12 homers in a total of 146 2/3 innings pitched.
Lions vs Twins Pick: Samsung Lions
The secret to this game is the pitching of Won Tae-in. He pitched great last year and managed to pick up only a handful of wins. However, in this game he will keep the Lions close enough to turn over a winning game to the bullpen. The big question is if the bullpen can keep it together long enough to secure the win and we think that they can do that in this game here.
