Friday is going to see the start off the weekend series in the Korean Baseball Organization. To kick off the weekend series we have the Kia Tigers facing the Doosan Bears. The game is taking place in Jamsil Baseball Stadium at 5:30 AM EST, but it is also going to be aired on SPOTV2.
Kia Tigers Preview
The last game on the field for the Kia team was a washout as rain caused the game to be canceled. Now, without any game to play in the Tigers are still sitting on an impressive 3-0 record. The last game on the field for the Bears was a loss. The loss was against the KT Wiz and was a very close game with a final score of 8-7. The loss dropped the Bears to a record of 3-2 on the year. Still, the Doosan team hits at a clip of .307 with 7 homers as a team. The Bears have managed to settle on some decent pitching with a 5.11 ERA.
Raul Alcantara is the starter the Bears are handing the ball over to in this game. Alcantara has already had a start on the year with no decision, but did post only a 0.33 WHIP and a 0 ERA. Alcantara managed to throw a total of 6 innings with 2 hits allowed, no walks and 4 strikeouts.
Tigers vs Bears Pick: Kia Tigers
This game will be a great game, but it will also be one that is able to showcase a couple of teams that have a lot of potential on the year. Still, we like the overall pitching from the Tigers to be able to secure the win in this game.
