The LG Twins are coming in after getting a loss handed to them in their last game. The loss came against the LG Twins and it was not even close with a final score of 9-2. The loss ended up dropping the Twins to a record of 11-11-1 on the year, which is only good enough for the Twins to be sitting in 6th place.
Choi Won-tae is going to the mound for the Twins in this game for his 5th start. He has posted a 1-1 record with a 5.95 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP on the year. Won-tae has thrown 19 2/3 innings on the year with 14 runs and 20 hits allowed along with 2 homers. He has struck out 27 batters while walking 11 on the season. The Twins have posted a 4.37 ERA and allowed 221 hits with 17 homers. LG has ended up getting a 1.53 WHIP with a .275 opponent average.
LG is the second best hitting team in the KBO with a .296 average and 129 runs scored. The Twins have recorded 239 hits with 35 doubles, 2 triples, and 15 Hermes. The Twins have stolen 36 bases on the year and been caught stealing only 10 times.
SSG Landers Preview
Lanters is coming to the game here after getting a nice win over the Kia Tigers. The win was fairly close with a final score of 7-5. The win did move Landers backup to 3rd place in the KBO with a 14-9 record on the year.
Park Jong-hun is coming in for his 4th start of the year. Park has posted a 1-2 record with a 7.50 ERA and a 1.92 WHIP. He has only managed to get 12 innings pitched with 11 runs allowed on 13 hits and has given up 5 homers. Park has struck out 13 batters and has walked 10 batters on the year. Pitching for SSG has not been the optimal on the year with a 5.16 ERA and 213 hits and 31 homers given up. The SSG team has allowed the opponents to hit at a clip of .267 with a 1.50 WHIP.
The hitting for SSG is not horrible with a .275 average with 119 runs scored. The Landers team has ended up getting 220 hits with 26 doubles, no triples, and 30 homers. The Landers club has ended up with 19 stolen bases, but has been caught stealing 10 times.

Both of these teams have been playing good at points this year. However, Landers is putting a pitcher that gives up the long ball a lot and are facing a decent power team. However, we are going to take the Twins mainly because they are able to play the small ball better than the Landers club and that is what gets the win for the Twins.
