Granted, he does not give up a lot of long balls, which is definitely a plus, but does not matter as the Tigers do not hit a lot of homers. The Twins, though, for all their pluses offensively will struggle against Boyd who has actually been decent for the Tigers and can run the lineup through rather easily as he sits them down on strikes.
