Kia had a disappointing showing on Sunday as they lost both of their double header games. The losses came against SSG by a combined score of 12-9. The loss dropped the Tigers to a leading spot in the KBO, but moved their record of 25-15 overall, but are 12-8 at home this year.

Yang Hyeon-jong is the starter going to the mound for Kia in this game here. Hyeon-jong has started in 8 games already with a 3-1 record and a 2.66 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP. The Kia team is coming in hitting at a clip of .294 with a total of 230 runs scored on the season. The Tigers have ended up getting a total of 416 hits with only 78 doubles, 4 triples, but have cranked out 45 homers. The Tigers have recorded 52 steals with 14 runners thrown out.

Bears vs Tigers 5/14/24 Pick: Under 9.5

While I do think the Tigers are finally going to snap their losing skid, I did find a bet that I like better in this game here. That bet is going to be on the under. Both of these teams are putting a great starter on the mound and that will allow the offenses to be shut down in the game and unable to really do much run production, even though these are both offenses that are among the top in the KBO.
