KBO Preview

Samsung Lions Preview

The Samsung Lions are coming to this game here after playing to a 2-2 tie in 12 innings against the LG Twins. The game was a great battle, but it is one that neither team could come out on top in. The draw dropped the Lions to a record of 5-1-1 on the year. The Lions are hitting at a clip of .273 with only 2 homers, but have posted a 3.40 ERA on the year.

Samsung looks to put Lee Seung-min on the mound in this game. Seung-min has not pitched since 2022 and in that season he posted a 1.69 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP in only 2 games. He did manage to throw a total of 5 1/3 innings while giving up 2 hits, but walked 5 batters and struck out only 2.

LG Twins Preview

The Twins are coming into the game here sitting in 5th place in the KBO. The tie dropped the Twins to a record of 2-1-1 on the year as well. The hitting for LG sits at an impressive .284 average with only 1 homers. However, the pitching for LG has managed to get a 3.23 ERA on the season so far.

The Twins are putting Son Ju-young on the mound in this game here. Last year Son posted a 5.19 ERA and a 2.08 WHIP with a 1-0 record in 3 games pitched with 2 starts. Son did manage to strike out 5 batters, but walked 6 and gave up 12 hits in only 8 2/3 innings pitched.

Lions vs Twins Pick: Under 8

The game here will be a great battle, but it is one that neither team has really been able to come out on top of the other. With that being the case and some great pitching coming to the mound this is a game that we see hitting under 8 runs. Now, if that is the line I would play it because under 8 definitely looks promising to use.
