Hanwha Eagles Preview
Hanwha was able to pull out a win in their last game. The game was against the same Landers team they face in this game, but it was a low scoring game with a final score of 3-1. The win moved Hanwha to a record of 3-1 on the year. The Eagles are weak in the batting department with only a .208 average and 4 homers, but have posted an impressive 2.57 ERA.
When it comes to the hitting the Eagles are being led by Lee Won-seok with an average of 1.00 in limited action and only a single plate appearance.. The Eagles power hitting has seen Yonathan Perlaza hit a total of 2 homers on the year, but the Eagles to have Roh Si-hwan and Chae Eun-seong both with a single homer. Moon Dong-ju is the starter going to the mound for the Eagles in this game. Last year Dong-ju posted a 3.72 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP. However, he did manage to get an 8-8 record in 23 starts. Landers ended up losing in their last game against the same Eagles team. The loss dropped SSG to a record of 2-2 on the year so far. Now, Landers has dropped to a horrible hitting offense with a .210 average, but have managed to get 4 homers, but have been impressive in the pitching with a 2.75 ERA.
SSG has only played in four games on the year so far, but the hitting has been led by Cho Hyeong-woo with a .667 average. Choi Jeong is the leader when it comes to powering the ball out of the park with a total of 2 homers on the year. Jeong has also managed to lead the Landers team in run production with a total of 6 runs brought home.
SSG is putting Oh Won-seok on the mount in this game. Oh has already pithed on the season so far and has a 0.00 ERA with a 3.00 WHIP in a single game on the year that was not even a start, but did pick up a hold. Oh pitched a single inning allowing a hit and 2 walks, but did strike out 1 batter.mk
Eagles vs Landers Pick: Under 8
The pitching has really proven to be great between both of these teams. However, what is really missing has been the offensive power in either one of these teams. Look for that to make the difference in the game here as the offenses continue to have issues in the game here and that is what will lead to the under 8 being the winning hit in this game here.
