The Titans are heading to the 2022 season after finishing with a 12-6 record last year. The Titans were able to play really well in the division as well with only a single loss and a record of 5-1. Tennessee is only looking to build upon the success from last year and that is one aspect that the Titans could really rely on.

Offensively the Titans are looking to have Ryan Tannehill back at quarterback. Tannehill has ended up going 357/531 for 3,734 yards and 21 touchdowns with 14 picks. The leading rusher for Tennessee last season was Derrick Henry who carried the ball 219 times for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns, but that was prior to being injured. Treylon Burks is coming into Tennessee this year and should be able to improve the Titans offensive passing ability.

The defense for Tennessee had some issues last year. The Titans defense allowed 329 yards per game, but have allowed 245 yards in the air and only 85 yards on the ground. The Titans allowed only 20.8 points per game, but did end up with 16 picks and picked up 43 sacks. Jackrabbit Jenkins is a key loss from the defensive side of the ball for the Titans.

Baltimore is heading to the game here after finishing the season with a dismal record for the Ravens of 8-9. The divisional record for Baltimore was not much better with a horrible 1-5 showing the AFC North. That is definitely one aspect that John Harbaugh has to improve upon if Harbaugh wants the Ravens to be seen as a serious threat again for a conference championship.

Offensively Baltimore has to find some solutions. Lamar Jackson, the starting quarterback who missed 6 games, was the leading passer and rusher combined for the Ravens. Jackson ended up going 246/382 for 2,882 yards and 16 touchdowns, but had 13 picks. The rushing attack from Jackson picked up 767 yards on 133 carries and 5 touchdowns. Devonta Freeman was the next leader when it comes to rushing with 133 carries for only 576 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Ravens did lose Marquise Brown in the off season and he was the second leader on the team in terms of receptions and yards in the air.

Defensively the Ravens allowed a horribly 363 yards per game overall. The standout figure is 279 yards allowed in the air, which was dead last in the NFL, but also only 85 yards allowed on the ground. The Ravens did give up 23.1 points per game and only managed to get 9 picks with 34 sacks. The Ravens did try to shore up the defense a little bit with the addition of Marcus Williams at safety to help shore up the leaky passing defense.

Somehow Baltimore is coming in as the favorite by 4 points? I think that is a little much with the Ravens having a defense that was horrible last season and not much changes outside of the key addition of a safety. Combined with the fact that the Ravens also lost some of their offensive power with Bozeman leaving and two starters on defense leaving as well it could bode to be a long season for the Ravens. Now, the Titans for their part do have some issues as well and the main is the fact that the Titans swapped a good wideout for another good wideout and did not make any key additions to the team with that regard. Overall, though, I think 4 points and even Baltimore getting a money line win is a stretch and more of a stretch than I am willing to take. I see Tennessee winning this game on the road and the total going over as the Titans offense is able to slice up the Ravens defense.
