San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are trying to run down the Houston Rockets who are literally running away with the division. The Spurs even with the 6 game winning streak are not gaining any ground on the Rockets as the Rockets have ended up winning 7 games straight on the season and that could be something the Spurs are looking to do as well. Any win could help the Spurs out in getting some extra ground on not only the Rockets, but have a chance of getting into sole possession of second place which they are tied with the Pelicans.

The Spurs are averaging a total of only 102.4 points a game, which is towards the bottom of the league in scoring per game. The defense for the Spurs is leading the league by giving up only 99.1 points a game. What is really helping the Spurs out is the fact they are 9th in cleaning the glass with 44.3 boards a game.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are sitting only 4 games over the five hundred mark on the year. However, the Bucks would like to be able to pick up some additional wins as they are trying to run down the Cavaliers who are only 5 games ahead of them in the standings. So this will definitely be something the Bucks are going to want to do, but it could be a struggle when the team is playing a team as talented as the Spurs.

On the season the Bucks have been able to outscore the Spurs on average as the Buck are getting 106 points a game. The problem for the Bucks is the defense is giving up 106.3 points a game and that close has led to some very close losses for the Bucks.
