NFL action is set to take place on 9/11/22 and it will feature New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons. The game is set to take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game starts at 1:00 PM EST and should be on FOX.

The Saints are coming to the game here after finishing the preseason up with a little weaker than expected year. The Saints finished with a 1-2 record on the year. The win for the Saints was impressive by a score of 27-10 over the Chargers.

Saints Offense

Last season the Saints offense ended up being downright horrible in the passing department with only 187.4 yards per game. The rushing offense gained 117.1 yards per game and this led to a total of only 21.4 points per game. Jameis Winston is coming in as the starter for New Orleans and he is backed up by Andy Dalton. The running back is Alvin Kamara who has run the ball decent in the past.

Saints Defense

Defensively the Saints have been seen using the 4-3 for the most part. The outside rush should get a good boost from Cameron Jordan who has been good in the past. Still, the Saints do have a couple of injury question marks already on the year with Pete Werner at the linebacking position, but also Paulson Adebo who is also questionable in the defensive backfield.

Atlanta is coming here after getting an impressive preseason on the year. The Falcons ended up posting a 2-1 record in the preseason. The lone loss for the Falcons in the preseason was to the Jets and came with a final score of 24-16, but it was the second game.

Falcons Offense

The offense for Atlanta ended up getting a total of 218.4 yards per game in the air and only 85.4 yards per game on the ground. Atlanta did end up getting only 18.4 points per game scored. The quarterback for the Falcons is listed as Marcus Mariota, but if he falters the strings could be pulled quickly to get Desmond Ridder in the game. The running back is Cordarrelle Patterson who has been able to run really well in the past.

Falcons Defense

Defensively Atlanta is coming in using a 3-4 defense. The depth for the nose tackle position is an issue with Anthony Rush being the starter, but the backup nose tackle is already listed on the injured reserve. The rest of the starting lineup for the Falcons is fairly healthy, but the Falcons do not really have that much in the way of standout stars in the game.

Odds from Betonline.ag

Atlanta is a team that has a lot of questions coming into the game here. However, the Falcons are a team that does have a couple of quarterbacks in the preseason played really well and should continue to have a good showing here. Look for the Falcons to get the win here based off of the fact that the offense can control the game, but in this game here neither offense is strong enough to take over the game.
