Lotte has seen Jeong Bo-keun be the leader in the hitting, but he has only had two plate appearances on the year and recorded a hit in each chance. Victor Reyes and Kim Min-sung both lead the Giants in the power department with a homer each. Go Seung-min has managed to drive in a total of 3 runners on the year so far.

Na Gyun-an is the starting pitcher on the slate for the Giants. Gyun-an last year pitched in 23 games with 130 1/3 innings. This led to 114 strikeouts, 432 walks and a total of 140 hits. Still, Gyun-an was able to post a 3.80 ERA on the year and a 1.40 WHIP.

KIA Tigers Preview

KIA in their last game picked up the win in the opening game of the series. With the win the Tigers moved to a record of 2-0 on the year. Hitting for KIA is sitting at a clip of .292 with 2 homers, but the pitching has been key with a 2.50 ERA on the year.

The leader in hitting for the Tigers is Socrates Brito who hits at a clip of .444. When it comes to bringing home the runners that has been led by Choi Hyoung-woo who has ended up getting 3 RBIs.. The power hitting for the Tigers was handled by Choi Won-jun and Choi Hyoung-woo who have each managed to get a homer on the year.

KIA is putting James Naile on the mound. Naile last year pitched for the Saint Louis Cardinals in the MLB. Naile ended up throwing in only 10 games, but threw only 15 1/3 innings. This led to 7 strikeouts and a horrible 2.35 WHIP with an 8.80 ERA.

Tigers vs Giants Pick: KIA Tigers

The Lotte Giants are not that impressive on the year. The hitting for the Giants has struggled on the year and the power hitting is almost missing. Throw in a horrible job throwing the ball and it is easy to see James Naile to record a win in this debut in the KBO.
