KBO Preview

LG Twins Preview

LG is heading to the game here after getting crushed by Kiwoom in their last game. The crushing loss came with a final score of 8-3. The Twins on the year now are sitting in 3rd place in the KBO, but have posted a record of 4-2-1 on the year. On the season the Twins have hit at a clip of .310 with 6 homers, but have managed to post only a 2.91 ERA.

Casey Kelly heads to the mound in this game for his second start of the year. The first start ended up a no decision for Kelly who has posted a 4.50 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. Kelly did end up throwing 6 innings in the game and gave up only 7 hits and 3 runs. Casey Kelly did not walk anyone in his game against Samsung and did strike out a total of 4 batters.

Kiwoom Heroes Preview

Kiwoom heads to the game here after getting their first win on the year. The Heroes are still sitting in 8th place in the KBO, but have ended up getting a 1-4 record on the season. The Heroes are now hitting at a weak clip of .234 with only 3 homers. The pitching for Kiwoom still needs to show a lot of improvement on the year with an ERA of 6.00.

Emmanuel De Jesus is the pitcher that is getting the ball in this game for the Heroes. De Jesus has posted a loss in his one game on the year with an ERA of 10.80 and a WHIP of 2.70. In his game against NC De Jesus only managed to throw 3 1/3 innings and allowed 5 runs on 6 hits and gave up a homer. De Jesus did strike out 6 batters and walked only 3 in the game.

Twins vs Heroes Pick: LG Twins

Kiwoom did get a win in their last game, but it was probably more from luck and a pitcher that was not having a good day. The hitting for the Heroes has been horrible on the year and we do not see that really improving that much. Yes, Kelly did not get a decision in his opening game, but still pitched decent in the game. De Jesus for his part did not even make it out of the third inning and that will most likely continue in this game and with the pitching from the Kiwoom bullpen being questionable at best it is easy to see the Twins picking up the win.
