Las Vegas Aces at Phoenix Mercury 5/31/19 – WNBA Pick, Preview, Prediction
The Aces looked great in their opening game where they were able to win the game by 13 points over Los Angeles. However, the Aces are going to have to continue to play great in the games that they have coming up and facing the Mercury could be challenging for the Aces. Yes, the Mercury ended up losing the opening game they had, but it was a loss that the Mercury could overcome if their offense is able to start to figure out how to play better and more like a team. The Mercury lost their opening game to Seattle by a score of 77-68.
Las Vegas Aces Preview
The Aces were able to spread the ball around nicely so far this year as A’ja Wilson was able to play 31 minutes and scored 21 points. Kayla McBride played 29 minutes and scored 20 points for the Aces. When it comes to cleaning up the glass the Aces were able to rely on Dearica Hamby who pulled down a total of 14 boards in the game with only 1 offensive board. Overall, the Aces definitely were able to spread the ball around and even helped get the playing time spread out as the majority of the players hit over 10 minutes in the game.

My FREE WNBA Pick: Las Vegas Aces
The Mercury are not that great of a team, but definitely have some players who could make the difference. The main issue is the Mercury players are not at the same level and while the star players are doing great, they are not getting the support that is needed from the bench and other players on the court, which is what led to the Mercury’s opening loss. The Aces, though, have been able to get a great game in the opening of the season and that will definitely help the Aces out in this game as they are not relying on any single player to lead the team. Final Score, Los Vegas Aces win 82-71.
