Las Vegas Aces at Atlanta Dream 6/6/19 – WNBA Pick, Preview, Prediction

Atlanta DreamThe Aces were a preseason favorite to win the WNBA title, but here recently the team has really struggled to look decent and really are one of those teams that needs to find a way to get the defensive spark going as the team was unable to really show up against Phoenix or Connecticut in the game to play defense as they gave up over 80 points in the games. The Dream, though, have the same issue and the Dream have an offense that is not able to pick up any good offensive momentum on the year. The last 2 games, which were blowout losses the Dream only managed to score 75 points and 66 points in the games.

Las Vegas Aces Preview

The Aces have been able to play decently on the year with a strong offense. In fact, the Aces have been led in the scoring by A’ja Wilson who has been able to get 17 points per game. Kayla McBride helps her out quite nicely with 16 points a game. Rebounding has seen Wilson being able to pull down 9.7 boards a game, which she is getting a little bit under 3 offense boards a game. The assist leader for the Aces has been led by Kelsey Plum and Sydney Colson who has managed to get just under 4 assist a game on the year.

Atlanta Dream Preview

The Dream have really struggled on the season so far with the offense and that is going to be a major downfall for the Dream. The Dream have managed to get only 10.3 points a game from Brittney Sykes and she is the only player in double figures. Jessica Breland has ended up getting 9.7 points a game on the year. Sykes has ended up getting a total of 10.3 boards a game on the year and does not even average a single offensive board per game. Alex Bentley has been able to get 3 assist a game on the year and that can really help out, but it has been a challenge for the Dream.

My FREE WNBA Pick: Las Vegas Aces

The Dream do not have any type of offense and even against what is seen as a very weak defense that the Aces have it does not make a difference. The Aces have been able to score really well and that is going to allow the Aces to run away with this game rather easily as the Aces offense is able to score almost at will. The Dream, though, will have some problems in scoring even as the Aces defense struggles to stop them and the balls that do not fall for the Dream, does not get cleaned up by the Dream. Instead, the Aces control the ball and the glass to bring home a strong win in this game. Final Score Prediction, Las Vegas Aces win 88-67.
