In his lone game this year Um managed to throw only 4 innings in the game and allowed 6 hits and 5 walks, but did manage to get 3 strikeouts.
Hanwha Eagles Preview
The Eagles come into the game after barely surviving a scare in their last game. The game was against the Wiz and the Eagles barely won. The win, though, did move the Hanwha team to a record of 5-1 on the year overall and that is good enough to sit in second place in the KBO. The Eagles are hitting only at a clip of .245 on the year with 5 homers, but the pitching has been great with a 2.89 ERA.
Felix Pena is being sent to the mound in this game for the Eagles. This year Pena has started in 1 game so far and has posted a 2.70 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP while recording a win. Pena did manage to go 6 2/3 innings in the game and allowed only 6 hits and a lone walk, but did end up striking out 4 batters.
Wiz vs Eagles Pick: Hanwha Eagles
Pitching is key in the KBO and any level of baseball for that matter. That is one thing the KT Wiz are missing on the year and with Um going against Felix in this game it will be very easy to see the Wiz allowing runs again as Um Sang-back struggles in the game to contain the weaker hitting Eagles team. Still, look for Felix Pena to do really well in the game and keep the KT Wiz in check the entire game to secure the win.
