Kiwoom Heroes Preview
The Heroes are coming in after getting handed a loss at the hands of the Hanwha Eagles. The loss came by a score of 8-3 in what was a major disappointment for the Heroes. The loss dropped Kiwoom to a tie for 8th place in the KBO with a record of 16-24 on the year, but on the road the Heroes have posted a 7-12 mark.
Kim In-beom is heading into the game here for his 5th start of the year with 9 appearances total. Kim has posted a 0-1 record on the year with a 2.55 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. Kim has thrown a total of 24 2/3 innings on the year with 7 earned runs out of 7 runs total. In-beom has allowed 21 hits, 1 homers, and 5 walks on the season while striking out 11 batters. The Heroes are a horrible pitching team with a 5.36 ERA and have allowed 414 hits with 33 homers. As a team the Heroes are letting the opponents hit at a clip of .290 with a 1.56 WHIP.

The Twins are coming off of getting a win in their last game. The win came off of a score of 6-4, but it was against the Lotte Giants. The win moved the Twins up to 4th place in the KBO wit ha record of 23-18-2 on the year. However, at home the Twins are sitting on a 13-8-1 record.
Casey Kelly comes to this mound here for his 9th start of the year. Kelly enters the game with a 1-4 record and a 5.52 ERA with a 1.49 WHIP. Kelly has thrown a total of 45 2/3 innings with 28 earned runs out of 31 runs total. Casey has allowed 57 hits, 7 homers, 11 walks while striking out 33 batters. LG heads to the game here with a 4.25 ERA on the year and have allowed 404 hits with 33 homers. The Twins have allowed the opponents to hit at a clip of .269 with a 1.47 WHIP.
The Twins are hitting at a clip of only .284 with a total of 230 runs scored. LG has ended up with 418 hits with 66 doubles, 9 triples, and 32 homers. However, LG has ended up getting only 71 steals and 23 runners have been thrown out.
Heroes vs Twins 5/14/24 Pick: LG Twins
The Twins are coming into the game here with the better offensive showing than the Heroes, but also the better overall pitching. That along is going to make it easier for the Twins to get the win in this game here, but the Twins are going to have to try hard as the Heroes have been a team that has ended up shocking the opponents. Still, we do like the Twins to secure the win in this game here as they have the better overall offensive showing and base running.
