Kiwoom Heroes Preview
The Kiwoom Heroes are coming here after getting handed a nice win over the LG Twins in the opening game of the series. The Heroes ended up winning the game by a score of 5-0. With the win Kiwoom moved to 8th place in the KBO with a 17-24 record overall, but on the road the Heroes are 8-12.
Ariel Jurado is heading into the game here for his 9th start of the year with 9 appearances total. Ariel has posted a 3-4 record on the year with a 4.00 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP. Jurado has thrown a total of 54 innings on the year with 24 earned runs out of 24 runs total. Ariel Jurado has allowed 58 hits, 7 homers, and 12 walks on the season while striking out 41 batters. The Heroes are a horrible pitching team with a 5.23 ERA and have allowed 417 hits with 33 homers. As a team the Heroes are letting the opponents hit at a clip of .286 with a 1.54 WHIP.

the loss for LG was a disappointment, but it was one that the Twins were not expecting. What did not help was the complete lack of offensive showing from the Twins. The Twins are sitting in 5th place in the KBO currently with a record of 23-19-2. The Twins are at home in this game and have posted a 13-9-1 record.
Im Chan-kyu comes to this mound here for his 9th start of the year out of 9 total appearances. Im enters the game with a 0-3 record and a 4.93 ERA with a 1.62 WHIP. Chan-kyu has thrown a total of 42 innings with 23 earned runs out of 24 runs total. Chan-kyu has allowed 52 hits, 5 homers, 16 walks while striking out 45 batters. LG heads to the game here with a 4.20 ERA on the year and have allowed 418 hits with 33 homers. The Twins have allowed the opponents to hit at a clip of .272 with a 1.48 WHIP.
The Twins are hitting at a clip of only .281 with a total of 230 runs scored. LG has ended up with 421 hits with 66 doubles, 9 triples, and 32 homers. However, LG has ended up getting only 71 steals and 24 runners have been thrown out.
Heroes vs Twins 5/15/24 Pick: LG Twins
The Twins are a team that should be able to play a lot better than the Heroes in this game. Granted, that is the same story that should have happened in the game on Tuesday as well, but it did not happen. Still, I do like the Twins to get the win in this game here as the Heroes I think are unable to sustain the type of play they have done lately and remain competitive.
