Hanwha heads here after taking it to the Kia Tigers. The Eagles ended up winning the game by a score of 4-2, but still it was an impressive win for the struggling Eagles. The Eagles are now sitting in 8th place in the KBO with a record of 14-20 on the year, but on the road the Eagles have posted a 7-10 mark.

Lee Tae-yang is the starter going to the mound for his first start and 10th appearance for the Eagles. This year Lee has posted an 0-1 record with a 7.27 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. He has thrown a total of 8 2/3 innings while giving up 8 runs 7 of which were earned runs. He has allowed 11 hits and 3 homers while walking a lone batter and striking out 2. The pitching for the Eagles has shown some improvement with a team ERA of 4.95 with only 319 hits and 31 homers given up. The opponents are hitting at a clip of .274 against the Eagles, but Hanwha has a WHIP of 1.50.

The Eagles are a very weak team when it comes to hitting. The Eagles have posted a .254 average with 172 runs scored. Hanwha has managed to get 291 hits with 60 doubles, 8 triples, and 26 homers. Still, the Eagles have managed to get 12 steals on the year with 13 runners being thrown out.

Kia was stunned by the recent loss to the Eagles, but now are looking to bounce back. The Tigers are still sitting in first place in the KBO with a record of 22-12. However, at home the Tigers have ended up getting a record of 10-6.

William Crowe is heading to this game for his 8th start on the year while posting a 4-1 record wtih a 4.08 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. Hanwha Eagles vs Kia Tigers 5/4/24 Pick: Kia Tigers

I have to say that in this game the pitching from Lee Tae-yang has me questioning if the Eagles are looking to win this game. Still, after their recent slumps and lack of pitching I am thinking that the Tigers are going to be able to bounce back and secure the win in this game here as they are the better team overall in this game and one that should be able to right the ship again with the strong pitching from Crowe making the difference in the game here.
