Here is our Gulfstream Park Race 4 Preview and Pick.

Post 1 Hard Belle – 10/1

Hard Belle is coming here with Victor Barboza Jr.s as the trainer and ridden by Emisael Jaramillo. The sire for Hard Belle is Hard Spun. In 2022 Hard Belle has run in 5 races and has a second and third place finish. The last race was on 5/5/22 at Gulfstream Park and was a 6th place finish. The last workout was on 4/23/22 and was a 4 furlong workout in 48.70 and finished 13/63.

Post 2 Hercules – 5/2

Hercules trained by Juan Alvarado and is being ridden by Alisa Morrison and was sired by Brethren. In 2022 Hercule has run in 5 races and the closest to the finish was 2 third place finishes. The last race was on 5/7/22 at Gulfstream Park and was a 3rd place finish. The last workout was on 5/22/22 and was a 4 furlong finished in 50.32 with a 45/55 rank.

Post 3 Sash (GB) – 7/2

Sash was sired by Oasis Dream and is trained by Jeff Mullins and is being ridden by Hector Isaac Berrios. This year Sash has run in 3 races and has not come anywhere near a top finish. The last race was on 5/7/22 and was a 4th place finish at Gulfstream Park. The last workout for Sash was a 4 furlong workout on 5/22/22 and was finished in 50.67 and ranked 48/55.

Post 4 Black Belt – 4/1

Black Belt is trained by Mark E. Casse and ridden by Edwin Gonzalez and has been sired by Not This Time. In 2022 so far Black Belt has run in 2 races with 1 first place finish. The last race was on 4/22/22 at Gulfstream Park and was a first place finish. The last workout was on 5/22/22 and was a 4 furlong that was completed in 49.80 and had a rank of 16/38.

Post 5 Universal Payday – 9/2

Universal Payday is trained by Carlos Luis Perez and ridden by Edgar Perez and was sired by To Honor and Serve. For Universal Payday the horse has run in 4 races in 2022 and has finished second twice. In the last race which was on 5/13/22 at Gulfstream Park Universal Payday finished in 4th place. The last workout was on 5/7/22 and was a 4 furlong run and finished in 48 flat and ranked 6/65.

Post 6 Brooklyn Strong – 3/1

Brooklyn Strong has been trained by Victor Barboza Jr. and is ridden by Miguel Angel Vasquez. When it comes to the sire Brooklyn Strong has been sired by Wicked Strong. In the 2022 racing season Brooklyn Strong has run in 1 race and did not even reach the top 3. The last race was actually run on 3/7/22 Parx Racing with a horrible 8th place finish. The last workout was at Gulfstream Park and was 4 furlong run on dirt with a finishing time of 51.97 and a rank on 32/34.

Gulfstream Park Race 4 Pick: Show On Universal Payday

Now, this is one race that is definitely filled with a lot of hopeful horses. However, I have to say that among all the horses in the race the favorite is not the one that I really like. I mean yes, the horse has run good but seriously the best finish for Hercules is 2 third finishes and that will definitely be a major issue here. With that being the case, I actually do like a show bet on Universal Payday. Yes, Universal Payday could win, but I am not overly confident of that and that is why I am taking a show bet here.
