The Lotte Giants are heading into this game here after getting a loss handed to them on Sunday. The loss for the Giants came against the LG Twins by a score of 6-4. With the loss the Giants did not change positions as they are already dead last in the KBO. The Giants are now sitting on a record of 13-25-1 overall, but on the road Lotte is 4-13.

Barnes has ended up throwing 48 innings on the year with 22 earned runs out of 22 total runs. He has allowed 46 hits, 7 homers, 13 walks, and struck out 63. This year the Giants have posted a 5.13 ERA and have allowed 400 hits with 41 homers allowed. Lotte has ended up getting a 1.59 WHIP and the opponents have hit at a clip of .295.

The KT Wiz ended up dropping both games of a double header on Sunday. Both of the losses came against the Doosan Bears by a combined score of 20-8. The losses dropped the Wiz to 7th place in the KBO with a record of 17-24-1 overall. At home, the Wiz have played decent at times with a 10-8 record.
Um Sang Back is the starter going to the mound for his 10th start of the year. Um has posted a 2-6 record with a 6.20 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP. He has thrown a total of 45 innings giving up 31 earned runs out of 32 total runs, but has allowed 54 hits. Um has allowed 10 homers, but walked only 15 while striking out 51. The Samsung Lions have posted a team ERA of 4.32 on the year overall, but have allowed only 367 hits with 33 homers given up. The opponents are hitting at a clip of .259 while the Lions have posted a 1.38 WHIP.
The Wiz come to the game here hitting at a clip of .283 with a total of 229 runs. The KT Wiz have recorded a total of 425 hits with 61 doubles, 4 triples, and 43 homers. The base running has managed to see the Wiz pick up a total of 20 steals with only 8 runners being thrown out.
Giants vs Lions 5/14/24 Pick: Lotte Giants
This is one of those games that I think could go either way on the way it is being played. However, the one team that I do see getting the win secured in this game here is going to be the Lotte Giants. The Giants are hitting better heading into the game here, but also are putting a better starter on the mound in this game here and that makes it easier for us to see the Giants getting the win secured in this game here.
