Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever 6/7/19 – WNBA Pick, Preview, Prediction

Indiana Fever PickDallas and Indiana are going to have a decent game here, but the downside is the Wings are a team that has not really managed to have a lot in the way of production on the year when it comes to the offense. The Indiana Fever, though, are playing at home and have an offense that is one of the best in the WNB. Not to mention the team has managed to get a defense that has started to step up as well to help contain any type of offensive push by the opponent.

Dallas Wings Preview

The Wings have not been that impressive on the year so far as they have yet to win a game. What does not help the Wings out is the fact that the most points the offense has scored all season is 72 point and that was in a recent loss to Atlanta and that type of scoring dates all the way back to the preseason even.

The leading scorer on the year for the Dallas Wings has been Allisha Gray who has been able to score only 11.5 points and Arike Ogunbowale has ended up getting a total of 11.5 points a game as well. Rebounding has not been a major strength either with 8 boards a game from Azura Stevens. Brooke McCarty-Williams has ended up getting a total of 8 assist a game.

Indiana Fever Preview

Indiana has looked very impressive on the year so far. The Fever have managed to score over 70 points in all the games they have played this year and that goes back to the preseason, but also in the loss the Fever were able to score 77 points on the road against Connecticut, but the defense did not really show up as it has in most of the games as they allowed 88 points.

For the Fever, they have relied on Erica Wheeler to lead the team in scoring with 17.3 points a game. She has been helped in the scoring department by Tiffany Mitchell who has put in 13.7 points a game. Now, the Fever have been even weaker in the rebounding department as Candice Dupree leads the team with a sad 5.7 boards a game. Wheeler has helped the offense out even more by getting a total of 6.7 assist a game.

Wings at Fever Line:

My FREE WNBA Pick: Indiana Fever

This game is one that the Wings are going to hope goes away quickly. The Wings do not have a good offense and the defense for the Wings has been fairly suspect and playing on the road it will get even harder for the Wings to look impressive. Look for the Fever offense to show up big in this game and actually take the game away from the Wings in a dominating manner. Final Score Prediction, Indiana Fever win 87-70.
