Connecticut Sun at Atlanta Dream 6/9/19 – WNBA Pick, Preview, Prediction

Atlanta DreamThe Sun are going on the road in this game and they have been very impressive so far this season and have a 4-1 record. The Dream, though, are playing at home and when playing the Dream have not really been that impressive on the season so far and that is going to keep the Dream a nightmare for the team so far and that could be a major issue for the team as they are not looking good at all.

Connecticut Sun Preview

The Sun have only dropped a single game on the year and it was a road loss. However, the loss came against the Sparks and it was a game that saw them lose by a total of 7 points.  When the Sun played the Sparks at home, though, the team bounced back and really took control over the game and beat the Sparks by a total of 12 points.

Leading the scoring for the Sun has been Jonquel Jones who has put in 17 points a game. When it comes to her back up scorer the Sun have relied on Courtney Williams who has put in a total of 13.4 points a game so far. Rebounding has seen Jones pull down a total of 13 boards a game. While Jasmine Thomas has been able to get 4.6 assist a game.

Atlanta Dream Preview

The Dream is a team that has not really been able to show up offensively. The most points the Dream have been able to get in any single game has been in the opener against Dallas when the Dream won the game by a score of 76-72. Outside of that the Dream have scored only one other time over the 70 point mark on the year.

The leading scorer for the Dream has been Brittney Sykes who has put in only 11.5 points a game and is the only scorer for the Dream to be in the double-digit mark. Jessica Breland is the second leading scorer at 9.8 points a game, but has pulled down 7.5 boards a game. Renee Montgomery is the player who has managed to get 3 assist a game.

Sun at Dream Line:

My FREE WNBA Pick: Connecticut Sun

The Sun have an offense that is hard to contain and the Dream do not have any offense to speak of. Not to mention when the Dream do miss shots, which happens quite a bit, they are not going to have a chance to clear the glass like they would want as the Sun are able to clean up the glass with Jones doing a great job. Final Score Prediction, Connecticut Sun win 84-66.
