Churchill Downs Race 2 Pick: Show On Formal Order
The longshot is my pick in this race. Yes, I know that typically means that you are not going to win anything and typically lose, but I do not think that is the case here. I look for Formal Order to have a strong run in the race and with the fast workout from the horse in the past at 49.20 the horse is proven to be a fast runner and it was in a 4 furlong run. I look for that type of speed to be consistent across the run here and outside of Teewinot Pass I do not see a really strong threat. Granted, the favorite is good and strong, but only a single win in 4 races really makes me doubt the consistency of speed from the favorite.
