The NBA action continues here on 5/25/22 with Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat. The NBA game is set to take place at FTX Arena in Miami, Florida. The game is expected to be aired on ESPN in the United States.

The Celtics are coming to the game here after getting a win in their last game. The win allowed the Celtics to move to a 51-31 record on the year. Still the Celtics are now heading on the road to play the Heat in the best of 7 series in the fifth game of the series.

The Boston Celtics were led in the scoring by Tatum who put in 31 points, but the second high scorer was Pritchard who came off the bench to put in 14 points. The rebounding leader was Horford who pulled down 13 boards in the game. As a team the Celtics shot at a clip of 40% and landed 24% of the three point shots. The Boston Celtics did end up going 32/38 for the free throw shooting. Boston managed to pull down an impressive 60 boards with 21 assists and only 9 turnovers. Boston pulled out 11 blocked shots and 4 steals in the win.

On the season the Celtics have ended up getting a total of 111.8 points per game on the year and have allowed a total of 104.5 points per game. The Celtics have pulled down a total of 46.1 boards per game, but have allowed 43.7 boards per game. The shooting for Boston is sitting at 46.6% from the field and 35.6% from the three point line.

The Miami Heat for their part are coming to the game here after giving up the ghost to the Celtics in the 4th game of the series. The Heat are coming off the heels of the loss to the Celtics by a score of 102-82, which was a major disappointment for the Heat offense, but did help the totals stay well under the mark.

In the last game the Heat starting group looked horrible with 2 players scoring 0 points and none of the starters landing in double figures. The leading scorer for Miami was Oladipo with 23 points and the second high scorer was Robinson with 14 points. The rebounding leader was Butler with 7 boards. Overall, the Heat shot at only 33% from the field and 39% from three point land, but were horrible at the line landing only 57% of the shots. The Heat pulled down 39 boards and managed to get 22 assists. The Heat had 9 turnovers to go along with 2 blocked shots and 4 steals.

The scoring offense for Miami is not horrible, but is far from lighting up the scoreboard with 110 points per game scored. The Miami Heat have pulled down a total of 43.7 boards per game, but have managed to give up only 41.7 boards per game. Miami has allowed 105.6 points per game defensively. The Heat are shooting at a clip of 46.7% from the field and 37.9% from the three point line. Miami has landed 80.8% of the free throw shots on the season.

Odds From Betonline.ag

Will the Heat’s horrible shooting continue in this game here? That is very unlikely, but what is likely is the Celtics good run on the defensive side of the ball. Granted, I do think the total will go over the 203.5 mark, but I do not see the shooting from Miami improving enough for the Heat to secure the win in the game as the Boston Celtics are able to continue to play good offensively and keep on picking up the missed shots to help Boston covering the spread.
