Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks 2/21/19 NBA Pick

Milwaukee BucksThe Boston Celtics are coming back from the All-Star break just in time to face the Milwaukee Bucks. However, the Bucks are not a pushover team like they have been in the past and they are actually looking like a team that has some great playoff potential here. What else will be interesting is to see if any of the off court distractions will show up as the Celtics did not really have much in the way of problems, but Irving has been a focal point at times. The Bucks for their part, have been able to avoid any type of major off court issues and that will help the Bucks out quite a bit.

Boston Celtics Preview

The Celtics are coming back after picking up a win over the Pistons before the All-Star break. The game was a good victory for the Celtics as they were able to win by 8 points, but that is not really saying much with how the Celtics have played on the season. Jayson Tatum was the leading scorer for the Celtics with 19 points. All of the starters in the Celtics lineup, though, finished in double figures and even one bench player managed to hit the double figure mark. Al Horford was able to clean up the glass fairly nice for the Celtics with 14 rebounds in the game.

This season Kyrie Irving has been the leader of the Celtics with 23.6 points a game and 6.9 assist a game. The Celtics have been able to get a total of 113 points a game on the year, but the Celtics have ended up getting a total of 26.4 assist a game. The Celtics have been able to pull down 45.1 boards a game and that has mainly been led by Al Horford who has been able to get 6.8 boards per game on average. The Celtics defense has given up only 106.6 points a game on the year so far.

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

The Bucks are coming in after picking up a big win before the All-Star break by taking down the Indiana Pacers. What was really impressive was the fact the Bucks defense was able to keep the Pacers offense to only 97 points as the offense was held in check, but still put in 106 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo was able to pull off the very difficult triple double in the game to lead the Bucks in points at 33, pulling in 19 rebounds on his own, but also getting involved offensively with 11 assist as well.

Giannis  Antetokounmpo is the player who has been able to lead the Bucks in scoring and assist with 27.2 points a game, but also with 6 assist a game. He even leads the team in rebounds as well with a total of 12.7 boards a game on the season. The Bucks on the season have been able to score a total of 116.9 points a game. The Bucks have been able to get a total of 26.2 assist on the year so far. The Bucks have ended up getting a total of 48.8 boards a game, which leads the league. The defense of the Bucks has played great giving up only 107.1 points a game.

My Free NBA Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -5.5

The Celtics are having some problems on the road and are barely over the five hundred mark. The Bucks have only dropped 5 games at home and that is going to really help the Bucks out in this game. What else will help the Bucks out is the fact the offense has been playing great and the defense has not really been challenged much this year. Look for that to continue in this game as the Bucks bounce back rather easily from the All-Star break to win and cover 115-108.
