Auburn at Texas A&M 9/21/19 – College Football Pick

Texas A&M AggiesAuburn is going to face Texas A&M in this game here. However, it will be a battle between an unbeaten Auburn team and a Aggies team that has a single loss on the season. The good news is Auburn has only faced on really good team on the year so far and that was Oregon, which the Auburn team was able to really control the game from the start. The Aggies, though, had a lot more competition when they were facing Clemson. In fact, the Aggies managed to give the Tigers a run for their money for a little bit before the game finally ended up in a 24-10 final.

Auburn Tigers Preview

Auburn is heading into this game with a decent win in their last game that they ended up putting in 55 points over Kent State, but only allowed 16 points on the day. The other thing the Tigers have going for them is the receivers are completely healthy and that will definitely help the team out in this game to test the Aggies defense. Bo Nix is the quarterback the Tigers have relied on this year. He has went 44-84 on the year with 545 yards and a total of 4 touchdowns, but did throw 2 picks on the year. JaTarvious Whitlow is the leading rusher for the Tigers with 64 carries for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns. Eli Stove is the leading receiver for the Tigers with 16 catches for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Jeremiah Dixon is the leading tackler for the Tigers, but he is a defensive back and he has recorded a total of 19 tackles on the year. Marlon Davidson is the defensive end who leads the team in sacks as he has recorded a total of 2.5 sacks for a loss of 7 yards. Dixon even has a pick on the team for the Tigers.

Texas A&M Aggies

The Aggies are heading into this game after picking up a huge win in the last game. The Aggies did not look like they could be stopped while scoring 62 points and only giving up a total of 3 points. Kellen Mond is the quarterback the Aggies have relied on this year with 63-97 on the year so far with a total of 747 yards on the year and 5 touchdowns, but he has thrown 3 picks. Isaiah Spiller is the leading rusher for the Aggies with 28 carries for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jhamon Ausbon is the receiver for the Aggies with 17catches for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns on the season.

Leon O’Neal Jr. and Anthony Hines III are the leading tacklers on the year with a total of 3 tackles on the year for the Aggies. Elijah Blades has been able to lead the Aggies in the sacks as five players are tied with 1, but Blades recorded his loss of 16 yards. Roney Elam has been able to pull down 2 picks and so has Myles Jones for the Aggies this year.

My FREE College Football Pick: Texas A&M Aggies -4

The Auburn team is one that will give the Aggies defense a run for their money in this game. However, the Aggies are a team that has their defensive backfield ready to go and has been able to put pressure on the quarterback and the defensive backfield is able to pick off the ball quite a bit better. Not to mention the Aggies have a lot better offensive power in this game and that coupled with the fact that the Tigers are unable to really pressure Mond in the game here and the rushing attack of the Aggies does provide quite a bit of balance to keep the Auburn defense guessing and unable to adjust to the attack the Aggies bring to the game here. Final Score, Texas A&M Aggies win and cover the spread 27-21.
