Green Bay ended up losing in their opening game of the preseason. The loss was a high scoring game, though, which definitely hit the over. The Packers scored 21 points and the 49ers scored 28 points to secure the win for San Francisco.

When it came to the offense the Packers wen 19/32 for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns with 3 picks with 2 quarterbacks. The quarterbacks were only sacked 1 time for a 3 yard loss. Running the ball for Green Bay was done 34 times for 141 yards and no scores at all.
Packers Defense
Defensively the Packers faced a total of only 22 passes which were completed 15 times for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Packers did get 3 sacks for a total of 19 losses. When the 49ers ran the ball the 49ers picked up 116 yards on a total of 32 carries, so the Packers running defense was not that horrible on the day.

New Orleans did not really show up that well defensively in the opening week of the preseason. Look for those types of struggles to continue in this game here as the Packers looked very impressive offensively in the game against the 49ers who actually have a fairly solid and robust defense. Still, I do see the Saints scoring at least once in the game, but with the dominating force of the Packers offense the total will go over and the Packers are able to cover.
