Mike Davis vs Giga Chikadze – 5/16/20 UFC Fight Night Pick & Prediction

UFCA featherweight battle has made it into one of the prelim matches and it will definitely look like a great battle. The downside is Davis is coming into the fight with a lot faster hands than Chikadze and that would definitely explain why he is so heavily favored. Not to mention Davis is better at takedowns than what Chikadze has been and that will definitely help Davis out quite a bit as well.

Beast Boy is coming into the fight without a true fighting style yet to call his own, but he does use more of the orthodox stance. The last fight that Davis was involved in was a TKO/KO win over Thomas Gifford in the third round. The win allowed him to improve to a 8-2 mark overall, but the TKO/KO record is at 7-0 and he is 1-1 in the submission fights so far. When it comes to the striking Davis is coming into the fight with 5.87 significant strikes per minute and out of those the accuracy is quite good at 54.39% in his career.

For Giga he is coming into the fight with the orthodox type of style of fighting, but he has a reputation of being more of a striker when it comes to his fighting so far. Chikadze has a lot slower fighting style and is not really getting the strikes as much as what Davis is. Davis is heavily favored in this fight and it is easy to see why. He is better at takedowns, but he is also better at significant strikes as well. In fact, Davis is landing almost double the number of strikes and his accuracy is almost double what is showing from Giga. Look for Davis to completely dominate in this bout and either win by a TKO/KO or by a unanimous decision.
