Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors 6/10/19 – NBA Finals Pick, Preview, Prediction
The Warriors have their back against the wall and have to win or you can call Toronto the new NBA champions. Heading back to Toronto the team has the momentum and definitely can start to breathe a little bit easier, but the Raptors need to wrap up the series before the Warriors get back to full strength from the injuries they have been battling in the playoffs so far. The Warriors, though, even with the return of Thompson were unable to really show up in the game at home and were controlled and frankly embarrassed by the Raptors.
Golden State Warriors Preview
The last game out for the Warriors was a dismal offensive performance and definitely did not look like the Warriors wanted to win the game. In fact, the way the Warriors performed on the court it looked almost like they were tired and just ready for the season to be over. However, facing elimination and facing a lack of offense and a defense that has been very questionable it would be a good time for the Warriors to change the situation.
Golden State was led in the scoring by Klay Thompson who came back from injury to put in a total of 28 points. He was helped out by Curry who put in 27 points, but outside of that the Warriors were horrible in the shooting with only two other players getting 10 points and the rest were in single digits. Draymond Green managed to get a total of 9 defensive boards in the game, but he also managed to get a total of 12 assist in the game.
Toronto Raptors Preview
Do the Raptors have the power to push through another game here against the Warriors and take down one of the teams that has been a force the past 5 years? I think they could, but taking 3 straight from the Warriors is a stretch. Especially as the Raptors are going to have trouble staying focused, but if the defense continues to put up the same type of pressure they did in the first few games then the Raptors bring home a win very easily here.
Kawhi Leonard led the Raptors in scoring with a total of 36 points in the game. What was really impressive was the play of Serge Ibaka who came off of the bench to put in 20 points and Pascal Siakam was able to get a total of 19 points in the game. Leonard was able to pull down 12 rebounds to lead the Raptors and he definitely looks hungry for the title. Kyle Lowry ended up with 7 assist in the game and that was very impressive for the team.
Warriors at Raptors Line: Toronto Raptors -2.5 O/U 213.5
My FREE NBA Finals Prediction: Toronto Raptors -2.5
The Raptor are hungry and definitely want the title and with Leonard leading them the Raptors are very difficult to beat. The Warriors, seem to look very sloppy and even the offense that was one of the most potent in the regular season seems to have fallen apart and is not looking good at all. What could be the saving grace for the Warriors is Curry does not like losing, but even with Thompson on the court the Warriors were decimated in the last game and as long the Raptors stay healthy with the home court buzz the Raptors bring home the win. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Raptors win 106-98.
