The other issue is the defense for the Mercury is having a lot of the same problems and that has led to the Mercury losing a lot of the games they have been playing on the year.

DeWanna Bonner is the player who has been able to lead the Mercury on the year for scoring with 22.7 points a game. Brittney Griner has ended up being the second leading scorer for the Mercury with 13.3 points a game. Bonner has managed to pull down a total of 9.3 boards a game on the year. Yvonne Turner is the leading assister for the Mercury with 4.7 assist on the year.

The Fever have ended up getting a decent record on the year and outside of the game against the Sun the team have looked very impressive with a defense that has looked very impressive on the year so far. The Fever pulled out a ton of win in the last game by dominating Dallas by winning by 15 points in the game.

Erica Wheeler has been able to score at a clip of 14.5 points a game on the year. Tiffany Mitchell has been able to be the best backup scorer for the Fever with 13.8 points a game. Candice Dupree has managed to get a total of 7 boards a game. Wheeler has been able to lead the team in assist at 7.3 assist a game on the year.
