Knicks at Hawks 2/14/19 NBA Pick
The Knicks have traded away most of the talent on the year and the Knicks are also setting franchise records. The problem is the records the Knicks are setting are not the good ones as they have lost 18 straight games and that includes losing to the horrible Cavaliers on the season. The Hawks are not playing much better than the Knicks, but at the very least the Hawks have not dropped 18 games straight on the season.
New York Knicks Preview
The last game seen the Knicks get completely crushed by the 76ers 126-111. The Knicks in the game were led by Allonzo Trier who was able to put in only 19 points in the game from the bench. The other leading scorer put in 16 points and came from the bench as well and that was Damyean Dotson. What else was a disappointment was the leading rebounder pulled down 13 boards, but Mitchell Robinson came from Damyean Dotson.
On the year the Knicks offense has only been able to score 105.2 points a game which is ranked 26th in the league. The defense is ranked 25th as they are giving up 114.2 points a game. Passing has been horrible for the Knicks getting only 19.8 assist a game and that is ranked 30th, but when it comes to cleaning up the rebounds the Knicks are ranked 22nd in the NBA with 44.2 rebounds per game.
Atlanta Hawks Preview
The Hawks are home for the second straight game in a row here as they are facing the Knicks. The game before this the Hawks were able to beat the Lakers at home and that was a 117-113 win. Trae Young was able to dominate the game for the Hawks with 22 points and an amazing 14 assist a game. He was helped in the game by John Collins who fouled out of the game, but still managed to get 22 points.
The Hawks on the year have been able to rely on the offense for about 111 points a game and that is ranked 19th in the NBA. The defense, though, has not been that good as they are ranked 30th in the NBA and giving up 118.4 points a game. The Hawks do pass the game really well with 25.6 assist a game, which is ranked 9th in the NBA. The team does decent rebounding with 45 boards a game, which is ranked 19th in the nation.
Knicks at Hawks Line: Atlanta Hawks -7 O/U 224
My Free NBA Pick: Atlanta Hawks -7
The Knicks are horrible on the year and that is going to show up in this game here against the equally bad Hawks. The difference is the Hawks are going to come into this game here and really control the Knicks whose starters are horrible and the bench takes some time to warm up. I honestly look for the Hawks to stay out of foul trouble in this game and bring home a win in the game here and cover the spread 108-98.
